My Design Process

Here, I attempt to empathise with users on pain-points they may have on our websites. This includes looking at surveys (conducted on-site and online), GA4 data, benchmarking on competitors and UI/UX best practices. These problems can be turned into opportunities for improvement.
Whilst the initial step is to be empathic, the aim in this step is to be specific. A lot of questions are asked here as I probe into each issue to define concise problem statement(s).
I present my research with the product team to ascertain how best we can plant this project into the roadmap.
Communication with developers is key. Even though this step requires diverging into solutions, the problem-solving space should be in the refines of what is technically feasible. It may involve investigations from the development team. To me, this is the most iterative portion of the process (it's also the most fun!).
It's showtime. Before deploying, heavy QA is done to ensure whatever will be on live is what has been designed.

(Digital Collaterals & Media)

Back in 2023, Swee Lee (Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia and Vietnam) underwent a major brand overhaul.

I was tasked with translating the existing website library components into the updated identity, ensuring compatibility with developers, consistency in design and identifying assets needing resizing or re-uploading for the content team.

In addition, this project entailed close collaboration with the branding team, where we worked together to redefine guidelines for various website assets, providing clear direction for designers.
